No Fee Unless You Win

Tepezza (or teprotumumab) is an injectable drug for the treatment of thyroid eye disease (“TED”). Recent studies suggest that Tepezza is linked to permanent hearing loss and/or tinnitus, a ringing in the ears. Autophony is another common side effect Tepezza patients have reported, which is perceiving your body’s sounds to be louder than they are.
If you were prescribed Tepezza and have experienced any hearing-related side effects, you may be eligible to seek compensation from the manufacturer of Tepezza. Contact the experienced attorneys at Walton Telken Bragee now for a free, confidential case evaluation.

A recent study found that nearly half of Tepezza users reported hearing-related issues within four Tepezza treatments. Patients’ complaints ranged from muffled hearing, hearing loss, the sensation of their ears being plugged, tinnitus (ringing of the ears), and autophony (perceiving your own voice as unusually loud).
A March 2021 study by the Endocrine Society announced found that that 65% of patients had reported some hearing loss after using Tepezza. Of the patients studied, 77% reported that they had never had an auditory impairment (hearing loss or otherwise) previously.
The risks associated with Tepezza appear to be more significant than its manufacturer, Horizon Therapeutics, led users to believe. Horizon Therapeutics has been aware of this published study of new research since March 2021. We believe the manufacturer knew or should have known of these risks prior to the publication of this study and failed to adequately warn users of these risks.
You may qualify for a lawsuit against the manufacturer of Tepezza if you or your loved one experienced permanent hearing loss and/or tinnitus after receiving Tepezza infusions.
The main symptoms reported in the Tepezza study are:
Previously, the manufacturer of Tepezza warned that 10% of patients may experience hearing problems. However, this new study suggests that the percentage could be much higher.
