Meat products sold at Dierbergs have been linked to a listeria outbreak.
Dierbergs Markets has pulled one brand’s sausage, salami, bacon and other meat products from its shelves and issued a voluntary recall after a listeria outbreak was discovered at a meat processing plant in Albers, Illinois.
The affected beef and pork products were made at Behrmann Meat and Processing Inc. between July 7 and Sept. 9. More than 87,000 pounds of meats, including but not limited to sausage, meat sticks, smoked ribs, and wieners, are part of the voluntary recall.
In total, the voluntary recall affects over 60 products. All affected products say “EST 20917” in their USDA mark of inspection.
